The Junkies LLC (“The Junkies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a locally owned junk removal company based in Calhoun, Georgia. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, visit our website (thejunkiesga.com), text or call us, or otherwise request a quote (collectively, the “Services”); how we use and protect that information; who we share it with; and the choices available to you.
By submitting your information through one of our forms or otherwise contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit your information to us.
1 Information We Collect
When you submit a Facebook/Instagram Lead Ad form, fill out a form on our website, or contact us by phone, text, or email, we may collect:
- Contact information: full name, phone number, email address, and the address or city where the service is needed.
- Job details: the type and approximate amount of items you want removed, your preferred timing, your answers to the questions on our form, and any notes you choose to share.
- Photos: pictures you text or send to us so we can give you a quote.
- Communication records: the content of calls, text messages, and emails between you and The Junkies.
- Lead form and advertising data: information Meta Platforms, Inc. passes to us along with your form submission, such as the form and ad it came from and the time it was submitted.
- Website data: if you visit our website, standard analytics information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, which may be collected through cookies and the Meta Pixel.
We do not ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information through our lead forms. Please do not include that kind of information when you contact us.
2 How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you complete a lead form, request a quote, or call, text, or email us.
- From Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). When you submit a Lead Ad form, Meta shares the information you entered with us, and with our marketing agency on our behalf, so we can follow up with you. Meta’s handling of your data on its own platforms is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy.
- Automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on our website, used for analytics and to measure how our ads perform.
3 How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for purposes reasonably related to the service you asked about, including to:
- Contact you by phone, text message (SMS/MMS), and email about your inquiry.
- Review your job details and photos and give you an upfront quote.
- Schedule, confirm, and complete your junk removal pickup.
- Apply any promotion or discount you claimed through our ads.
- Keep a record of your inquiry and your history with us.
- Measure and improve the performance of our advertising, as described in Section 6.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of The Junkies, our customers, and the public.
4 Text Messages (SMS) and Phone Calls
By submitting your phone number through our lead forms or website, you consent to receive calls and text messages (SMS/MMS) from The Junkies LLC, sent from our own business phone number, about your inquiry, scheduling, and follow-up. These may be sent using automated technology.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive texts or calls to use our services.
- Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and scheduling needs.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any text message. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. You can also ask anyone on our team to stop contacting you.
- For help, reply HELP or contact us using the information in Section 13.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
5 How We Store and Protect Your Information
Your information is stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) and lead-tracking systems and business communication tools, which are password-protected and limited to our team and the service providers who help us operate (see Section 6). We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will promptly investigate any suspected data incident.
6 How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing purposes.
We share your information only in these limited cases:
- Our marketing agency, Matt Pryor LLC d/b/a SteadyBooked, which runs our advertising and stores your inquiry in its lead-tracking system on our behalf. It may also help manage our automated follow-up messages, which are always sent from our own business phone number. SteadyBooked may use your information only to provide these services to us, and never for its own purposes or for any other business.
- Other service providers who help us run our business, such as our CRM, phone and text messaging, email, and scheduling providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Meta Platforms, Inc., as the platform that delivers your lead form submission to us, and for ad measurement: when your inquiry moves forward (for example, an appointment is booked, or it turns out not to be a fit), we or our marketing agency may send Meta your email address and phone number in hashed (encrypted) form along with that outcome, so Meta can measure and improve the performance of our ads. Meta processes this information under its own terms and policies.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Junkies, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case the receiving party must honor this Policy for information already collected.
7 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website may use cookies, web beacons, and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the site and to measure and improve our advertising. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the website may not work as intended. You can also manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
8 Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide the service you asked about, keep business and tax records, and meet legal obligations. After that, it is securely deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 9).
9 Your Choices and Rights
Wherever you live, you may:
- Ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
- Opt out of calls, texts, or emails at any time.
- Opt out of having your hashed contact details sent to Meta for ad measurement.
- Withdraw your consent to be contacted. This does not affect contact made before you withdrew it.
Residents of certain states (such as California) may have additional rights under their state’s privacy laws, including the right to know what information is collected and how it is used, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. We do not sell personal information. Sending hashed contact details to Meta for ad measurement, as described in Section 6, may count as “sharing” for targeted advertising under some state laws; you can opt out of it at any time by following the steps at dashboard.steadybooked.com/data-deletion, and we will stop including your information from then on. Information already sent to Meta is handled under Meta’s own policies.
To make a request, follow the steps at dashboard.steadybooked.com/data-deletion, or contact us using the information in Section 13. We will verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests and will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10 Children’s Privacy
Our Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
11 Third-Party Platforms and Links
Our lead forms are hosted on Facebook and Instagram, and our website may link to other sites. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and this Policy does not cover their practices. Please review Meta’s Privacy Policy to learn how Meta handles data associated with Lead Ad submissions.
12 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The Effective Date at the top shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
